Adobe PDF (Portable Data Format) files can be interpreted as graphics rather than as text by screen readers, rendering them inaccessible. Adobe Acrobat 6.0 software provides a number of new capabilities that improve the accessibility of both Adobe Acrobat software and the information contained in Adobe PDF files.
